Long katana by Maizuru Tomohide. Tomohide worked during the Bakumatsu period and followed the trend of long big wide swords favored by the young samurai. Kiyomaro himself started the popularity of the wide blade with the longish tips resembling master works from the Nanbokucho period. This lade has a pinched back and is made to resemble a Nagamaki. The hamon is a gunome midare with very thick nie. The style resembles that of Kiyomaro.
