Genuine kozuka made for use by the Tokugawa family. The Tokugawa were the military rulers of all Japan, and use of their kamon without their permission is strictly forbidden. Fine works are of the highest quality for obvious reasons, they are usually made by the Goto mainline, Yoshioka or Sano schools for the Tokugawa. This kozuka is certified as a work from the Yoshioka school by the NBTHK. Perfectly carved.
