Beautiful set by the famous Higo master Nishigaki Kanshiro.. He worked in the early Edo period and was a student and confidant of the famed Hirata Hikozo who was Lord Hosokawas main metal worker for sword fittings. Kanshiro excelled at waves and this example shows his skill at true artistry. The waves are soft in feeling with the slightest of movement felt. Made up of high grade Shibuichi. NBTHK to Kanshiro.
