FT-272 Terukiyo Fuchi Kashira

Excellent fuchi kashira by the rare and coveted Yokoya school. Made of high grade shakudo, this set which has a design of tigers and bamboo is done very well. One can see the fine attention to detail that the Yokoya school is famous for in this work of art. The fine use of gold for the tiger’s stripes and the slight use of copper for the tongue show the attention to detail that made them highly collectable. Yokoya Eisei (Terukiyo) is rated as yuko which is one of the highest ranks given in the Kinko Jiten. An excellent set for any collection as Yokoya pieces are very hard to find, especially in shakudo nanako.
