FK-104 Mino Fuchi Kashira Set

Excellent True Mino Set

Very gorgeous set of mainline Mino School fuchi kashira. This set is very borderline between the Ko Mino and Mino School as far as time period and style go. Very well done in design and quality, this set has the deep black shakudo that the Ko Mino School was very famous for in their craft. The use of uttori (gold foil) on the flowers as well shows that this set is of top grade work as only those with the foil gold technique can only be done by the masters. Another point of proof that this is top grade work, is the finely done nanako (see close up). Top Mino pieces are very hard to find, in a sense, Goto pieces are actually more easier to collect, as they were made for many generations, and the school was also much larger. Also if you have a good eye for detail, you will notice that there are 2 types of gold used in the design. One set of flowers is lighter than the other on both the fuchi and kashira. With original shitodome as well. This set is also a true katana size as well, which also make this set very desirable. In very excellent condition.
